It’s that time, we can now officially announce the winner of the Fishery 2015 Launch Competition.
To recap, the prize was 1 year’s ticket on Fryerning Fisheries Valley Lake Syndicate PLUS a day’s tuition with Adam Penning – an amazing prize in anyone’s book!
The winner, selected by Fryerning’s very own Chris Knowles, is Mr David Salmon! So big congratulations to you David and we hope you enjoy the next 12 months angling at Fryerning 🙂 With all those expert pointers from Adam, he’ll certainly have a few tricks to try out. David’s from Chelmsford and has been angling since he was around 10 years old. To say he was pleased when he got the call to say he’d won would be an understatement! He spent the first few minutes cheering and saying how he never usually enters or wins any competitions, so it was pleasure to share the good news. David’s a bit of an all round angler who enjoys a spot of floater fishing on lakes and the rivers, and waggler fishing when it take his fancy. He has a carp PB of 41.5lbs (2013) and recently caught a 2lb 6oz roach on the waggler with Chelmsford Angling Club.
We’ll catch up with David some more and report back with some video and pics when he goes for his tutorial with Adam next year.
In the meantime, we’ve put together a small trailer for tomorrow night’s launch of Fishery 2015 Episode 1 – “Fryerning from Above” with Adam Penning:
Be sure to check back and we hope you enjoy the series.
